Covid is Undefeated: The Rock and his Family Affected by Covid-19
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed via Instagram today that he and his family have a tested positive for novel coronavirus. Also known as Covid-19, the virus continues to show no mercy and no discrimination. The actor, his wife, Lauren Hashian, and their two daughters, ages 4 and 2, are said to have been suffering with the virus for two to three weeks.

Johnson states that his daughters started off with sore throats but “bounced” back pretty quickly; meanwhile he and his wife “had a rough go.” Good news is the virus has passed and they are healthier. “We are on the other end of it, were on the other side, we are no longer contagious.” Always the family man, Johnson goes on to say that his number one priority is to always protect his family. “I wish it was only me who tested positive.” he said.
He admits to them letting their guards down by letting close friends visit. That is how the virus was transmitted to Johnson and his family. Probably one of the most dangerous aspects of this virus is the fact that one can be infected and show no symptoms or signs of the virus. Although his family has been “incredibly disciplined” during the lock down and quarantine, in the future he will apply even greater discipline.
Always one to show gratitude and count his blessings he gives this bit of advice. When gathering with friends and family, make sure everyone is tested and that test comes back negative. He also speaks on a “commitment to wellness and health.” Do things that boost and strengthen your immune system. The biggest take away… Wear a mask. Its not political. Its the right thing to do.
