IWRG Rey Del Ring 2020 Part 1

IWRG yearly tournament went live on June 14. The arena was empty and precautions were taken to make sure the wrestler’s safety against COVID could be practiced.

Rey del Ring is a royal rumble type match where the last man standing is crowned Rey Del Ring. The event began in 2002 and up until 2009, the winner didn’t receive a belt. That changed in 2011 (mo tournament in 2010) when the Rey del Ring Championship was debuted and won by El Pantera.

The first part main event took part with half of the participants. Here are the results for all the matches that took place in Arena Naulcapan.

Atomic Star defeated Tromba (Single Match)

Avisman defeated Eragon (Single Match)

Intergender match Diosa Quetzal defeated Fulgor I (Single Match)

Puma de Oro draw Vs. Yoshioka (Single Match)

Shun Skywalker defeated Shil-Ka, Alas De Plata, Fresero Jr., Lunatik Extreme, Chico Che, Jessy Ventura, Ovett, Hijo De Dos Caras, Fly Star, Relampago, Toxin, Hijo del Alebrije, Super Nova & Dragon Bane (IWRG Rey del Ring tournament Round 1 Battle Royal Match)

Shun Skywalker will now wait to see who wins part 2 of the Battle Royal due to COVID the normally 30 men rumble has been split into 2. The final match for the belt will be on June 28.
