WWE Stars Test Positive for Covid 19

A NXT performance center trainee tested positive for Covid-19 last week. Since that announcement, WWE has started testing talents and staff members more this week. WWE had not been testing before this time period, so the reach this could have could possibly stop production. With company wide testing starting this morning, some talents are now confirming they have tested positive for Covid 19.

Yesterday afternoon, Renee Young tweeted out in a message on Twitter revealing she had tested positive for Covid-19. Getting this news, after the announcement this week that WWE Backstage had been cancelled by FOX for low ratings.

This morning, two more names came out and revealed they had tested positive. Adam Pearce, backstage producer, and Kayla Braxton, wwe backstage announcer. Braxton revealed this is her second time having COVID-19, as she had tested positive back in March.

At the time of this writing, WWE has talent coming in a day early to test ahead of the double taping of Smackdown and Raw on Friday and Saturday, which is still planned.

WWE advised they will continue to test on a regular basis. With cases still rising in Florida, one has to wonder how long will the show go on. We wish the best for all talents and please everyone safe.
